In Southern California, heavy rain events have the potential to cause devastating landslides. The City of Oceanside has initiated an education program called Landslide Preparedness and Prevention for Oceanside residents.
While all landslide damage cannot be prevented, this Web site offers practical advice on how homeowners can take a number of precautions to make their property safer.
