The City of Oceanside Clean Water Program wants to make our waters clean for all residents and visitors. We need your help in order to improve water quality. There are several cleanup events throughout the year that get people outdoors and in touch with our environment. A big Thank You goes out to all volunteers who take the time out of their busy schedules to help with these important cleanup events. For 2010 there are currently four events scheduled, all from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM except for the July 5 Morning After Mess schedule from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM. All volunteers will receive a t-shirt or other give-away item, cleanup supplies, including bags and gloves, and refreshments. Please wear closed toed shoes, hats and sunscreen. For more event details call 760-435-5536.
